Reference Hubs and Workflows in Chats
Reference Knowledge Hubs and Workflows directly in your chat prompts using @ mentions. Query indexed content without leaving the conversation.
Reference Hubs and Workflows in Chat with @ Mentions
You can now reference Knowledge Hubs and Workflow directly in chat mode using the @ symbol. This pulls indexed content or workflow capabilities into your conversation without switching contexts.
How @ Mentions Work
Type @ in the chat input field to open a dropdown menu. The menu displays all available hubs and workflows in your workspace. Select the one you need, and it becomes part of your prompt.
When you reference a hub, the system uses that hub's indexed content to generate responses grounded in your data. When you reference a workflow, the system triggers that workflow's capabilities to process your request.
Select Hubs and Workflows
- Open a chat session in V7 Go
- Type @ in the message field
- Select a hub or workflow from the dropdown
- Complete your prompt with your question or instruction
- Send the message
The AI generates a response using the referenced hub's content or the workflow's processing capabilities.
Use Cases
Query large document repositories
Reference a hub containing policy libraries, technical documentation, or virtual data rooms. Ask questions across hundreds of files without manual searching.
Chain multiple sources
Reference multiple hubs in a single prompt to correlate information across different document collections.
Trigger workflows
Reference an workflow to apply its extraction or analysis capabilities to your current conversation.
Best Practices
- Be specific in your prompts after the @ reference
- Reference only the hubs relevant to your question
- Use natural language to describe what you need
- Keep context connected by staying in the same conversation for related queries
