Connect PitchBook to V7 Go
Preview
This feature is new and evolving. Details on this page may change as we
improve it.
V7 Go connects to PitchBook through PitchBook's MCP server, so the agent can
search companies, deals, and investors from chats, playbooks, and workflows.
PitchBook MCP needs a PitchBook license that includes the connector. Connections use a locked sharing policy; you cannot switch them to private or public.
The short version
- In Go, open Integrations → MCP Connectors → PitchBook — or ask the agent
in chat to use PitchBook. - Press Connect and authorize PitchBook in the popup.
- The agent re-runs the tool it was trying to use.
There is no client ID or API key to paste.
Troubleshooting
- Connect is denied or the account looks empty. Your PitchBook representative must enable MCP for the license. Reconnecting does not grant it.
- The agent keeps asking to connect. Reconnect from the connector page.
For messages Go shows on the connect card, see
MCP connector errors.
FAQ
Is the connection shared? Connections follow the sharing policy on the
connector page. Private connections only work for the user who created
them.
What can the agent do? Whatever your PitchBook user can already do. Ask "what PitchBook tools do you have?"
for the live list.
