Go data security FAQs
Here are the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions that our team receives. For a more detailed overview please refer to our Data Processing Addendum.
How will my data be used?
- V7 will not use and does not intend to use your data to fine-tune models.
- V7 will collect behavioural analytics data to improve Go's user experience.
Where is my data processed and stored?
- All data is securely stored on V7's S3 bucket which is hosted in AWS eu-west-1 (Ireland) and complies with all of AWS's wider security requirements.
- Depending on your model selection, data can be processed in the US (please refer to the provider table below).
- We offer the ability to use Azure OpenAI which would allow you to process your data in Europe (This feature is available on our Enterprise plan).
Which third party services do you use?
- You can find a complete list of all third party services that V7 uses at our security page here.
Can the model providers that power Go train or tune their models using my data?
- No. V7 has an enterprise plan with all of the frontier model providers, this means none of your data can be used for training. The model providers themselves can retain any data sent to them for up to 30 days. This is the same for both Enterprise and Pro plans.
- Users on our Enterprise plan can integrate models with custom data retention policies using our Bring Your Own API Key feature.
We've included the terms for each model provider below:
